Projects to Complete this Year

Build fence & gate to keep the dogs out

Move the side fence back 10 feet (more room for more plants!!!)

Rain Barrel system connected to our downspout

Potting Bench built from recycled wood (pallets)

Build out the Pond.....

Fruits---man can not live on veggies alone!

This is what I currently have in the yard.....

1 Banana tree : very young, less than a year old, This has come back strong.  I am hopeful that this will grow large enough to produce bananas.  I am told it is a Ice Cream Banana tree.  The fruit will taste almost vanilla, custurd flavor....I am excited!!!

3 Papaya trees: A gift from the mother of a good friend, about a year old, only about 2 feet high

1 Meyer Lemon tree: a birthday gift last year (2008), tons of blooms, my fingers are crossed.
